SCENE IV
Curtain opens. The Prince and the King stand onstage.
KING: Yes yes! Quite welcome! Now, I’ll have one of my daughters show you to your room. (he yells into the wings) Alusair! You have another guest!
ALUSAIR: (entering) Yes father?
KING: This is Prince Antranig.
PRINCE: Charmed. (he kisses her hand)
KING: The Prince will be your charge for the next three days. Make sure you take good care of him.
ALUSAIR: Don’t I always father? Now sir, if you would please follow me, I’ll escort you to your room.
PRINCE: Lead the way.
They exit. The King watches them leave and then walks offstage in the opposite direction.
